For Florida pool contractors

Let's partner up on pool startups and send business both ways.

We specialize in new-pool and resurface startups — the single highest-stakes 30 days in a pool's life. Hand off your new builds to a team that'll protect your warranty, make your clients rave about you, and send you referrals for the pools we can't build.

How this works

Two-way referral pipeline + startup specialization.

We have clients asking for pool builds, tile work, resurfaces, renovations — projects we don't do in-house. You have new builds that need a proper startup — the kind that actually protects the plaster warranty instead of voiding it. Let's send those leads to each other.

  • We refer new-build, resurface, tile, and renovation leads to certified contractors
  • You refer startups to us — we handle the 30-day intensive so your client is happy
  • We both build a pipeline we control — instead of chasing leads
  • You preserve your plaster warranty; we earn a life-long customer
Why our startup is different

3 days to balance. 9–12 visits in month one. Daily brushing. 3 filter cleans week one.

Most companies do 4 visits in the first 30 days and don't balance chemistry for 30 days. We visit 9–12 times, balance in 3 days, brush daily, and clean the filter 3 times in week one. That's the difference between plaster that lasts 20 years and plaster that fails in year 5.

When the homeowner stays on our service, we warranty the plaster for one year ourselves. Your back is covered.

Startup horror stories (that aren't ours)

Why contractors need a startup specialist

We've seen pools that were beautiful at handoff and ruined within 60 days because the startup got done wrong. Here's what goes wrong most:

Chemistry not balanced for 30 days

Industry-standard is 'wait a month.' But the plaster is reactive during those 30 days — high pH scales it, low pH etches it. Waiting means damage is already done.

Adding acid to fix high pH — wrong

New plaster leaches calcium hydroxide and drives pH way up. Most guys dump in acid, which strips alkalinity and causes etching. Small, frequent doses with brushing — that's the answer.

No brushing (or weekly brushing)

Should be daily brushing for the first 14 days. Every tech visit, every time. Skip it and you get streaks, calcium deposits, and a permanent cloudy appearance.

Plaster dust everywhere

Plaster dust coats the floor, walls, and equipment. Without aggressive filter cleaning (3× in week 1) it clogs the filter, kills flow, and destroys water features.

Warranty void — who does the homeowner blame?

Contractors tell the client to 'use your pool guy' for startup. When it goes wrong, the homeowner comes back to the contractor. Warranty conversation gets ugly.

Water features etched or scaled

Can't use pool decking material for water-feature slabs — too soft for pH swings. Needs quartz-resistant aggregate or you'll be replacing slabs year one.
